Supporting modular construction at ETEX
At its facility in County Tipperary, Ireland, ETEX produces modular buildings for applications including housing and hospitals. Moving heavy loads is part of the daily operation, making dependable handling equipment essential to supporting production.
Handling heavy loads throughout the working day
The demands placed on the forklift vary with production. Marcin Blajda, ETEX Transport Supervisor, explains that, during busy periods, the truck can be working for around 90% of the time.
Individual boxes range in weight from 500kg to 1.5 tonnes, so the team needs a machine suited to moving substantial loads regularly. Marcin says the Hyundai truck meets those requirements and fits well into the operation.
For Marcin and the team at ETEX, their first Hyundai forklift has made a positive impression. Within its first two months on site, the truck had earned praise for its handling capability and the clear view it gives operators.
That machine from Hyundai is perfect for us and we are really happy.
Marcin Blajda, ETEX
Clear visibility earns positive driver feedback
Operator feedback has been a particular highlight during the truck's first weeks at ETEX.
Marcin reports a positive response from drivers, especially around visibility through the front window. A clear view of the working area is a feature the team has quickly come to value.
I got very positive feedback from the drivers, specifically about the vision. The front window is amazing.
Alongside visibility, Marcin praises the truck's side-shift and fork-positioning features, highlighting their suitability for the handling tasks on site.
A promising start for Hyundai at ETEX
At the time of filming, ETEX had been using its Hyundai forklift for approximately one to two months. Although still early in its working life at the facility, the truck had already demonstrated its value to the team.
ETEX currently operates one Hyundai machine, and Marcin says the business may consider more in the future. For now, the combination of heavy-load handling and positive driver feedback has given the relationship a promising start.
